If I remember correctly Damon is 25 and Stefan is 17. So yea quite an age difference between him and Caroline/Elena but I believe neither Damon nor Stefan consider age anymore because of them being Vampires but I'm surprised neither Elena nor Bonnie thought it weird that Caroline brought Damon to the dinner.

I still can’t believe you guys are doing this show!!! I’m so excited!!! I don’t know how the age and maturity of vampires works, whether they are trapped at the mental age they turned or whatever. But Damon is 25 and Stefan is 17, if we are talking age they are physically. I think you can see that dynamic in the fact that Stefan still has a part of him that believes Damon will change, like a little brother looking up to a big brother. I think the girls are probably not considering how old Damon is which weird but I think it’s maybe just teenage girls not thinking that going out with an older guy is bad? Maybe something that would’ve seemed cool when you are younger.

Every time I watch someone react to The Vampire Diaries it pains me to see how much Caroline slander there usually is in the beginning because I really love her character but I know she’ll definitely grow on you guys

I think you misunderstood Damon because if he really didn't care like you said he would've killed Stefan instead of Tanner. He did it just to make Stefan believe that the brother he knew was gone and the fact that he didn't do anything to Elena when she slapped him knowing how snappy he is shows that he doesn't want to hurt her, he came in her bedroom to see her sleep (which i know is weird) and it's his ways of showing affection. Furthemore, the conversation between the two brothers hinted that there was more to it than Damon being "evil" and without spoiling that Stefan was not all innocent in this story. It was just to remind you not to judge too quickly before knowing anything. Same goes for Caroline, she might seem shallow and naive but she's a teenager and she doesn't have to be perfect, and all tvd characters have flaws.

Just wanted to mention, since you guys keep bringing it up...Bonnie didn't use a Miller Lite Bottle as a crystal ball. That was just a joke they were making. Bonnie only had the vision because she accidentally touched Elena's hand when they were passing the bottle. As with the other visions, it's the skin to skin contact. Maybe you guys were just joking when you kept saying that and knew that but it didn't seem like it so wanted to throw it out there.
