It is a very sad day for the Roy family and real feelings come out from everybody. However, in typical Roy fashion, it is still business time and Shiv is scheming up a plan with Mattson that Mencken might like. Make sure to drop a like if you're enjoying our Succession reactions!

I dont understand how Zuff acts like he know something and acts as if he knows much more than the characters in the show. And then in a scene where Roman is breaking down at his Dads funeral he starts laughing at him like wtf. Ive been looking forward to their reaction to this episode and that scene and that kinda ruined it a bit ngl. Kieran culkin killed it this episode, and Bryce called it, Roman has deflecting ever since Logan died, thats why he went into being really gross more than usual cause he cant deal with his emotions and then it ll came out. The show isnt about lliking these people, they are all not good people and have horrble relationships but its understanding them. Anyways really looking forward to finale and what they make of what goes on.

Zuff laughs at everything who cares. Ppl take away different things from tv shows. Just breathe, you’ll be fine. 😊

there’s something interesting in the way people are engaging, in these comments and in the comments on youtube, by seemingly demanding a certain kind of reaction. or, if not demanding, at least being incredibly put off by someone reacting in a (dramatically) different way than wanted or expected. roman is a character who, in the previous episode, gleefully and without hesitation, ensured that a politician would be elected to the highest office in our country who is presented in the show as being a racist megalomaniac who will do incredible, long lasting damage to the country and millions of people (and people of color specifically). roman casually sexually harasses his sister in the opening of this episode. roman sent unsolicited dick pics to a colleague. kieran culkin is an incredible performer, and he treats roman with empathy required of an actor, but that doesn’t mean that audiences are required to love him, forgive him, or empathize with him, and it sure as shit doesn’t call into question a person’s character (as in, their moral fortitude) because they refuse to empathize with somebody who is able to hurt so many people, so blithely. why am i writing this? i suppose i’m disturbed by the way people seem to want a specific reaction, and when they’re not given that (even though they were given that, by two other creators on screen), they criticize who the person is or otherwise demean their work ethic, professional integrity, or even intelligence, emotional or otherwise. i don’t think that’s fair; i think it’s a response that’s actually contradictory to the kind of nuance they seem to be calling for, and i don’t think it’s very kind. that’s all.

I agree with you completely. I’m 100% not trying to make assumptions about zuff but as a neurodivergent person I also sometimes struggle to regulate expressions and reactions according to the tone. It’s something that can be hard for some people and I really feel for him reading the comments. Many of them honestly felt outright ableist and demeaning. I agree with others that we have the right to give constructive criticism but the outright disrespect is unwarranted and unkind
