This episode is such a hard watch, a sick culmination of all their incredible myopia and outright stupidity, but damn does it ever set the stage for the end. So ready for y’all to have seen the next two episodes because they’re both incredible but going to be sad to reach the end.

So painful to watch. I think the thing that people tend to forget is that Shiv connected with Mattson as a direct result of Kendall and Roman boxing her out of decisions AND straight up lying to her. Also, them trying to kill the deal is just bad business and is based on their personal feelings. While Logan could be ruthless, he understood the value of this deal, so if anything, Roman is going against his dad’s wishes.

People tend to forget that Shiv ended up so close to Mattson BECAUSE her brothers betrayed her! I've said it before and I'll say it again, Shiv being an educated white woman and a billionaire has a better life than 95% of most men in this country BUT the reason she constantly gets screwed by her dad and her brothers is simple and pure misogyny. She's a woman and despite everything she brings to the table she's constantly forgotten and not taken seriously! They try to make her look like she's emotional meanwhile she's probably the least emotional of the 3! Roman is literally acting like a baby bc of his unresolved trauma and Ken is the most fucked up person I know and is literally mentally ill! the people who watch this show tend to see her as a betrayer and as an evil woman while always conveniently forgetting how actually awful her brothers are! shiv didn't do half of the fucked up shit they did but somehow she's more vilinaized than them... Anyways they're all awful but yeah I will stand with the Roy sibling that didn't kill someone and didn't want a racist misogynist homophobic president idk 🤷‍♀️

What's so bad about Mencken? He's a fascist and white supremacist with a hard-on for Hitler as we have seen in every episode he's been in. He's basically a much more capable Trump. Roman literally just got Logan to back him because it'll be good television and he wanted to be Daddy's favorite that week. Kendall and Roman just called the election for him because he will block the deal their dad died trying to push through. Shiv is self-serving and sneaky but they pushed her out at every single turn. At least her being self-serving didn't bring Americans a fascist president who is dangerous to people like Kendall's literal daughter. What's even wilder is Kendall and Roman can't even articulate to the board or old guard why they DON'T want to take the deal with Matsson.

Exactly. They (her dad and brothers) don't give a shit that she cheated on Tom. They all acknowledge her as smart and capable but her womanhood is the biggest thing that holds her back with them. Even Kendall came to Shiv whining about how he's not a good dad as if she's only there to support him emotionally yet he didn't want to include her in ruining the deal with Matsson.

Yeah, it's shocking that someone could watch these episodes and not understand what is horrific and terrifying about Mencken. Every time he is brought up the show goes to great lengths to emphasize (as you said perfectly) "He's a fascist and white supremacist with a hard-on for Hitler"

Tbh sometimes it frustrates me in these reactions., Zuff talks about how x and or y character isnt smart or whatever and then he doesnt even grasp the main points of the episode. And he was saying Kendall isnt doing anything. Where as the whole point was Mecken is a white supremacist, and that a supporter pushed his daughter so is stuck between safety of his children and the possibility of his own goal of stopping the deal. LIke I dont get how you can ask why is Mencken is so bad, becuase if you dont understand that then how will understand major tension of this episode.
