Ah, yes, the Zuko lore is beginning to drop. We love to see it. Also, the Avatar state never stops being cool af. I love that this show never really shies away from the brutalities of war and the cruelty that exists in the world without jeopardizing its humor and innocence or losing sight of its base audience. An actual masterclass.

Also, because I just remembered, a fun fact!! Dante Basco (AKA the voice of Zuko) was in a breakdancing crew before he became an actor. Stylistically a lot of Zuko's firebending moves look like breakdancing, like Bryce pointed out, as a subtle nod to this.

In addition to Ash's comment ^ each bending art is heavily influenced by real life fighting styles and has their own martial art techniques. The Legend of Korra is really cool too because while you still see these different fighting styles still, the TLOK characters incorporate kickboxing and MMA a lot more
