Juliette Lewis (who plays adult Natalie) was on a talk show talking about her role here and she says Natalie is the most sane one and I agree. I think out of the girls Natalie (teen and adult) is the most "human" if that makes sense. She feels her emotions deeply and seems to be the most mentally upset about her actions in the past and present. I don't say this to "drag" the other girls but it's just something I noticed about Natalie. Natalie was already rebelling and doing drugs but she literally saw her dad get his head blown off in front of her, that's deeply traumatizing.

I totally agree and I remember seeing something one time that said Natalie internalizes all her trauma and inflicts pain on herself through her addiction and self-sabotaging her relationship with Kevin compared to the other girls who project it more outward

Shauna is actually my fav silly girl and as the story progresses, she continues to be SUCH a well-written character. I think the whole Javi and Shauna thing is not romantic but more like a maternal mother/son thing. javi's the youngest by a few years and Shauna has been pretty protective of him from the start by not letting him see his dad when he died gruesomely and sharing her journal pages with him to give him a way to express himself. So she does have this motherly instinct and she's good at it which makes her present-day relationship with Callie really sad because we know that she could've been better.

surely the blackmailer isn't jeff right? what a coincidence that he had to go to work the same night they had to give the 50k. and he ended up staying at his "job" the rest of the night but he was actually trying to get rid of the glitter all night.. and what if the lady he was seen with at the hotel isn't a mistress but a reporter??? and what if he's been actually working with adam a.k.a javi??? what if adam is actually here to distract shauna?? oh my gosh i've connected the dots.. (i probably didn't connect sh!t btw lmaooo im just losing my mind)
