The way they used the music in this was perfect 👌 I also love that they made Princess Peach the exact opposite of a damsel in distress lol

Toad and Princess Peach were also my top two characters, with Luigi rounding out the top 3. They always felt like underdog characters to me, which was part of their appeal. The film was fun to watch and brought on a lot of feelings of nostalgia.

Side note: I'm hoping that Jack Black gets a Best Original Song nom at the Oscars for "Peaches" and that "I'm Just Ken" (from the Barbie movie) also gets nominated. I need to see Jack and Ryan Gosling singing their hearts out on the Oscar stage.

in the older mario kart games my #1 was always yoshi, but in the new ones I always play as rosalina and I hope they can incorporate her in the next movie somehow because Super Mario Galaxy was one of my favorite games growing up.

The squirrel suit is actually a tanuki (Japanese raccoon dog). It’s from Super Mario 3 (SNES). The cat suit is from Mario 3D World, which came out on the Wii U but is also available on the Switch. The groom Bowser was in Mario Odyssey. I was always Yoshi or Peach in the earlier Mario Karts. In the newer ones I like Baby Peach and Baby Daisy. I like fast acceleration :)
