I was looking forward to this episode! I also wanted to clarify in case it was confusing. Hee-do said “The kiss that started when I was 19, ended when I was 20” because she turned 20 at midnight. So per the Korean age system you actually turn a year older on New Years and not on your birthday.

this is my favourite episode in the whole series. seungwan’s enitre arc this episode made me cry sm, she’s so relatable.

I think the most interesting and must-see drama in the 'Reply' series is 1988. All of these items, lines, and details are amazing. Of course, only older Koreans can feel such details, and the ratings of this drama at that time were huge. It was so Korean that I didn't expect this drama to be a hit abroad, but it was very popular.
