IVE BEEN SO EXCITED FOR THIS ONE!! this ep always hits me right where it hurts, from nick questioning his bisexuality (which hit very close to home for me) to tara struggling with all of the negativity. can't wait to watch this😭 also no rob was right, the comment said "you don't look like a lesbian" which was super disgusting, it's also the sad reality bc people DO comment that irl. i had a few lesbian friends in high school and one of them got bullied back into the closet bc they said things like "what a waste". thankfully the friend is doing okay now and is out of the closet and happy again but i felt so bad for her, it's super fucking sad :/

As someone who is bisexual, this episode means so much to me! You rarely see bisexual characters portrayed in a good light, it always ends up coming with some sort of stereotype, unfortunately. I adored how realistic it was, Nick researching and discovering he may be bi and the show explaining what being bi is, ugh it was just amazing.

Tao is very oblivious to Elle liking him. We all know they do like each other tao is the only one who doesn’t know he likes elle. Out of the 3 couples in this show tao and elle were friends for such a long time that he just doesn’t realise he now loves her in a different way. This series has 4 books and I think the writer wants to have 4 seasons of the show for the books. Since this season was the first book only. They’re definitely having a 2nd and 3rd season because Netflix confirmed confirmed already but a 4th not sure about. The show is pretty much the same as the first book. Which I love.

Exactly. Usually bisexuality is highly sexualized, and this just gives a nuanced, happy depiction of a person who is bisexual, not a person existing in the show to add sexual flavor.

i know exactly what you mean, in terms of my bisexuality i usually get remarks like "that's hot" or "😏😏" and it's like??? stop being so weird it's my identity not your fetish😒 i love how they just make it seem so nuanced and happy, as you said, it's just so nice and refreshing to see
