Se-Ri encounters Captain Ri's real fiancee, Dan and they have a very awkward encounter that leads to Captain Ri driving her back to the city and having dinner with her mother.  Seung-Jung is seemingly being set-up after Se-Ri's brother offers to pay tenfold to get him back. After a very long and delayed train ride, they finally make it to Pyongyang and now somehow Se-Ri is with Seung-Jung.... Se Ri’s outfit when the train went out was pretty iconic, i remember it being all over twitter lol. This was also my favorite episode and the next one as well

Captain Ri's brother is a real one. He's such a good guy and yes he need justice. The guy who listens in on everything is Man Bok and for Dan her full name is Seo Dan so she goes by Dan. To answer the question regarding the power going off, it's not a random thing but more like a "curfew" type of thing where they turn off electricity at a certain time at night which is why the local people are used to it but not Seri cause she freaked out during that night. Great ep & reaction! Yea, these eps are quite long (the finale is a whopping 2 hours long! lol) In Korea the #13 is NOT an unlucky number. (But #4 is the unlucky number so sometimes there is no 4th floor in a building, like sometimes there is no 13th floor in the US.) This show is my husband's #2 favorite Kdrama of all time (Goblin #1!) - bc he LOVES the 2 N Korean groups of people who show such strong camaraderie (which were highlighted in this ep) - Capt Ri's squad of boys & the village women! Their bond is so great & their dynamic is also fun to watch. Some of the N Korean parts/scenes should shed some light into their way of life (i.e. no power sometimes, no internet in some places, etc.) When I was traveling in Egypt, I took a river cruise up the Nile & they also had those sales people suddenly come up to the ship selling stuff through the windows, just like in the train scene (the sales people were all in little boats!)

Just a sidenote because I am a sports fan and I'm not sure if you know this or not but international sports is actually a pretty big deal for North Korea despite what you might think. Participating in the Olympics for example is a very political and strategic event. It is a way to showcase national pride and glory as well as demonstrating to the rest of the world that they are a "normal" country and keep relations good. They generally have pretty competitive teams (they do particularly well in weightlifting) as winning gold medals is a way to honour their country. They pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics because of covid and haven't competed in sports events since which a lot of people find concerning.

The plan is for her to join the national team(Yes, NK has one) and disappear after the competition ends. Normally if someone desert, their family would face the consequences but Se-ri has no family in North Korea so there would be no consequences for her actions. As for the trouble that Captain Ri could potentially face, that's only if she causes trouble overseas. It would most likely trigger an investigation that would inevitably come back to Captain ri.
