The first time I saw this, I definitely liked the first one better. But the more times I've rewatched Glass Onion, the more I notice all the little things that they showed us the first time and I just missed. Like how you can totally see the recording device fall into Birdie's bag and Miles putting the gun in the ice bucket and Duke's phone in Miles's pocket. There's tons of stuff like that and it's fun to go back and hunt for them once you know what really happened. And all the little cameos are fun too, like Yo-Yo Ma being the one to explain what a fugue is, etc.

let's go!! so excited for this one! i personally liked knives out better in terms of the mystery but in terms of how the story was told i preferred glass onion. both were phenomenal films tho and im glad y'all picked up on this one:))

Fun fact: apparently Joseph Gordon- Levitt is the voice of the “Dong” sound the clock makes 😂

I definitely liked the first one better. It had more mystery

I love both movies but I feel like it was more fun watching Glass Onion for me! It could be cringy at times but the cringe worked for me. I love Helen as the main along with Benoit Blanc, they made such an amazing team and I think I also enjoyed them more than his character with Marta. Glad you guys enjoyed it, this was such a fun reaction to watch!

I liked the first one better as well, it was moe restrained, but I enjoyed this one so much. I also thought the current references were a bit cringe, but then just now, watching you talk about them, I realized... These are not for us, but for the next generation who will watch this in 30 years, and go "Can you believe they played games in laptops!?", and "I don't even know what Twitch is", while you'll say "You don't understand, Among Us was a thing!" and "I can't believe you've never even heard of Twitch. Get off my lawn!". There'll be three dudes who have not yet been born who will react to all those references and scratch their heads about this pandemic period. Like, I am 45 years old, and the things that stood out to you guys are already very different than the ones that stood out to me (I thought the "I had Phillip Glass compose that" was hilarious, but I had no idea who Madelyn Cline even was until this movie, for example). I got a bit frustrated that a 2-hour-plus movie told essentially the same story twice: once with Andi and then rewind and essentially go back over it again with Helen. But I love these movies. I love that they are fully original and not a preexisting IP (Agtha Christie influences notwithstanding), and I absolutely love the deep contempt Rian Johnson has for any kind of establishment, be it old money centrists in Knives Out, tech smoke selling in this one, or even nostalgia reverence on Star Wars. Bless him, we need more like him. Also, that was an excellent Kermit!

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this yet but if you like the knives out movies I highly recommend “Death on the Nile” it’s fairly similar and it has Gal Gadot, Russell Brand, Rose Leslie and a couple others in it. I actually thought it was a knives out movie because it had a similar style to it.
