After so many times of men being put down after being SA’d or R worded, I was so scared to see Donny tell his parents. “Would you think of me as less than one” broke me. I can’t even imagine what both those two have had to mentally and physically go through and oh my god that part hurt. And then to see his parents support him being LGBTQ made me cry so much as well

I can’t explain why I loved the ending scene so much. Something about the story of why she called him baby reindeer, is truly heartbreaking to me because it’s almost a sneak peek into Martha’s life which we never stopped to think as an audience why she grew up to be the way she did.
