everyone here talking about damon x elena x stefen drama but can we talk about jeremy and bonnie drama. its so messed up. whether jeremy cant help it or not, its so not fair to bonnie. she went against all her ancestors to bring back jeremy from dead and the first thing he does is possible cheating on her. Is jeremy's type dead girls lol? when he was with anna, he was into dead vicky and now when he is with bonnie, he is into dead anna

I love how happy y’all got to see Bonnie back 💕Jeremy don’t piss me off. I hope he doesn’t hurt Bonnie :(. I’m not liking this Anna thing with him. I love that Bonnie is back but Jeremy smh. Anyways, Damon Damon Damon. Typical Damon. I like that it was a common theme in this episode that Damon can not be trusted as this changed person because he hasn’t changed. He’s still selfish. Yes, Ric has the ring, but it is extremely damaging to do something like that to someone you’re supposed to be best friends with and right in front of Elena. Again, he did the same thing with Jeremy right in front of Elena and didn’t know he had a ring. I wouldn’t have forgiven him but Elena is better than me in that regard..I suppose. Now he does it again but with Ric. Ric and Elena were right…no one is there to keep him in check with the people of the town. You can’t blame people for believing that you are the person you show you are. At the end of the day, morale exists. Vampires while being the dead undead, are still straddling being human and being a vampire. They also live in a world where morale exists. The common theme in most vampire literature and media has been the contrast between those that fall into the monstrosity of vampirism and those that maintain their human elements. The reason why it’s even a theme is due to the fact that vampires are still human and because they live in a human world. That’s why there is commentary about Damon being a bad individual inside of the show between the characters themselves. There are human characters as well like Elena and Ric and that’s why there is this theme of not wanting to get the people that they love hurt because that is morally the thing that most people can connect with. The supernatural element of the series doesn’t change that this is a drama where we are supposed to analyze the dynamics between these characters. At the end of the episode, you see Caroline with her very human unconditional love for her father despite what he did to her. She feels and feels intensely despite being an entity between human and monster. She feels love because those human elements do not disappear. You see Damon and Elena have that scene right after where they are actively engaging in commentary surrounding morale without mentioning the word. Damon acknowledges Stefan’s morale while acknowledging his lack of it. Living forever doesn’t change the fact that they were once human while living in an encapsulation of humanity and vampirism. In fact, everything that is human, is intensified like love or betrayal. It’s okay to say that Damon lacks a moral compass even with those he says he cares about or has a connection to. That’s what makes the entire thing interesting. Yes, Stefan and Damon are vampires but one (Stefan) has retained the human element of self-sacrifice…sacrificing everything for the people you love even if it means keeping a distance to protect them and becoming the monster you had locked up in order to maintain your humanity. Also, imagine how much Stefan loves Elena that Rebekah could tell from the mere touch of his lips. That love is ingrained. I loved the scene with Caroline and Tyler right before Elena’s call. I’m glad she has someone who can understand her romantically so far. Tyler has certainly changed for the better. Ric has every right to be angry and I like that he is concerned about those who can’t protect themselves. He’s right with everything he said in his talk with Carol and Liz.
