I find it interesting that they decided lady Arnold to have a bit more modern style, reminiscent of old Hollywood. And Pen in that darkish blue dress, OMG

Luke Newton really nails the teary eyed tortured eyes in this one. Poor Colin. I love that scene he has with Violet and how as soon as it ends he it straight over to do what his dad did and ask, but just can't quite find the nerve. It's also great that they have Violet in the back of the shot watching on. I do think the balloon scene could've been done better to make clear Colin only does that as he sees Penelope is in the direct line of the balloon and that she doesn't move because she's too distracted staring at hot Colin! I don't think any of that comes across well enough.
