Well you cant say Stefan doesn't love his brother.. It's sad that he had to sacrifice everything buuut i do like the thought of a Klaus and Stefan "friendship" maybe? The last moment with Damon and Elena was actually a pretty lovely moment! It is one of my favourite moments with them and yes there is not a lot of them haha In my opinion of course!

Elena kissing damon right before he dies, was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for damon. My delena heart melted when this kiss happened. It was also so sweet when Elena said she likes him now just the way he is, it's such a beautiful line that damon needed to hear. damon was depraved of love for so long but Elena assured him he was appreciated for the way he is and he doesn't need to change. It shows how much compassion and empathy Elena has for others when they are suffering.

I also enjoyed the iconic Katherine line "It's okay love them both, I did." I also enjoyed how happy Zuff and Rob are when they watched the delena kiss. I'm relived that damon is saved from his fate, and its the one time that I respect Katherine for giving damon the cure. my heart shattered when damon said he deserved to die, but I'm glad Elena was there to tell him he was wrong.

I think they meant his blood being able to heal wolf bites is OP. But just the hybrid abilities are incredible imo.

I love the lore of the show, and how everything has a balance. Of course the only thing to cure a VAMP of a WERE bite is the blood of the hybrid. Anyway next season is my absolute fav cant wait!!!

I think a lot of people in fandom overlook stefen’s sacrifice. He literally gave up everything, something he worked all these years to get control over, gqve up that control to save his brother. It’s really big.

Agreed. He is becoming the monster he loathes and worked so hard to control. It’s one of the biggest sacrifices he makes. I think ppl forget this and very quickly start treating it as just “Stefan went off the rails”.

I really don't understand how people can hate Stefan when he does things like this. And you know, no matter how much he loves Elena it doesn't even come close to the love he has for Damon IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING. That being said, Elena being by Damon's side was so sweet. I can feel it in my bones. They are about to do my girl Bonnie so wrong OMG. I’m already feeling it :/ Stefan really loves his brother despite everything. He loves Damon so much that he sent his girlfriend to be by his side because he wants Damon to have her company even while knowing his brother loves her. Sacrificing his “soul” and morale as well as his love for Elena, to save his brothers life is so endearing. Obviously I don’t think any of us wanted Damon to die but I feel as though Damon gets more blame than Elena. Elena is just as guilty for purposely having no boundaries with Damon as Damon is for having feelings for his brothers girlfriend. It’s great to see that Damon will survive but I know it’s going to be a wild ride for all my Stefan girls next season as well as those who love Bonnie and Jeremy. After seeing Anna and V back…I just know the writers are gonna play around with Bonnie’s character :(

The amount of sacrifices that Stefan makes is often thrown to the wind by fans of the show. He is so in love with Elena and still chose to do whatever Klaus wants because he needs to save his brother’s life. The same brother that has made every mistake possible. To give up control of your life, your morale, and everything you have done to have restraint of the non human part of you, to save your brother’s life shows the character of Stefan.
