I came for the pure horror on your faces at the end lmao. Gillian Flynn (the author of Sharp Objects and Gone Girl) is such an expert at writing about unhinged female rage. I'm so excited that her other book Dark Places is being adapted. It's my favorite book out of the ones she's published and there was a Dark Places movie that was not the best adaptation but it's getting the mini series treatment. As I mentioned in the first episode, the director of this was Jean-Marc Vallée who passed away sadly. He also directed the first season of Big Little Lies which is also amazing.
