Devlog #077 + Monstergirl poll #17 is on! (Patreon)

Finally! I'm done drawing the new areas!!!
It really was a lot. It would be one thing if I only had to draw a bunch of objects and backgrounds from a list, but you have to also actually come up with that list. The reason this took so long is that I also had to make sure I knew what story events I wanted, to figure out what each map was going to look like, to create puzzle systems, secrets and interactable objects and their effect, to know when and how to introduce the various game mechanics, and of course to figure out themes I was satisfied with for each area.
So yeah that was a lot, and it's finally taken care of! I even went back to Sablee and Sablee ocean and updated a whole bunch of assets, including Vuu's house. I'm really happy with that ^^
Now there's always a chance that I'll eventually come back to some of that stuff and edit a few things here and there depending on what I need, but that's something else for later.
And so, that's the biggest task crossed out of the TODO list!

- Draw new characters

- Draw new NPC characters

- Draw chibis

- Draw chibi ranks

- Draw new collectables

- Draw new shapes

- Implement everything

- Create the rooms

- Implement the new music and SFX once they're done

- Create the story scenes

- Create the shape waves and balance everything

- Write the dialogue

- Probably more stuff I can't think about right now

As you can see there is still a lot of work left. I've missed drawing characters, so that what I'll do next! It won't take as long as the new areas but it is the biggest remaining task, which is another reason I'd like to do it next. Everything else should take a few days to a few weeks each. So yeah, progress is being made at the same speed as always, but it should at least feel faster over time, especially since I'll reveal some NPCs and chibis once they're ready.

I'll have more info about the special NPC poll of August once this months monstergirl poll is over, on the 12th, to avoid some potential confusions. It's not that complex, but let's not take any risk ^^

The poll will be active until July 12th. After this, you will be able to change your submitted modifier until July 15th. Finally, the two rounds of the modifier poll will take one week each.
