Hi! It's been 3 weeks since the last update, and things are going great!

If you remember, I said I was goind to rework some code in the last update. The most important things that had to be fixed were the  buff/debuff system, the way the spells/relics worked, and the combo system. These used to work relatively well, but they would have become problematic in the long run, so I focused on these 3 first.

From a player's perspective, it looks pretty much the same, but the changes and cleaning I made will allow me to add new spells, relics and combo items in a much more effective manner, on top of the game running better.

One thing that is noticeable is a little change I made to the buff and debuff icons. I added a visual representation of their lifetime, so you can tell how long you have until the buff or debuff runs out. the buffs are surrounded by a green circle, and the debuffs by a red circle.

I also fixed a lot a smaller bugs, none of which really deserve a mention. Minor stuff.

And now that most of the boring stuff has been taken care of, I'm left with the interesting parts. I've already begun to add an effect for the character's stats (defense, color affinity and the like). This will definitely be done by the next update. I'm also going to look into improving the fights, both in how it plays and how it looks, and I'd like to add some sort of victory and defeat screen. I don't know how much I'll be able to do, but that's the kind of thing you can expect next time.

So far, I feel like one update every 3 weeks is pretty good! It gives me enough time to get some nice work done, but it doesn't feel too long either.
