Well journal, today was interesting. I finally walked into my own class as a professor. I'm glad I made it here, but a few doubts linger. Am I really teacher material? Sure, I've got my curriculum, but it's hard to teach when the room feels empty, and the students aren't interested in the content and would rather stare at their phones. I kept looking at the rows of students. All of them were either thinking about other subjects, what's for lunch, or who's got a crush on who. Like hello? Aren't you guys paying to be here? The least you could do is take some notes. Uggg.

Honestly, I feel like it's because of how I look. I'm nothing special... 32, 5'6", slim, fit, and I'm cute at least according to the guys I've dated. But I'm nothing like one of my coworkers. She's one of those amazons, even I lost my breath when I first ran into her. I think her name was Reign... and when I looked into her class, it was packed! I don't think there was an empty seat  in the whole auditorium! And they were all paying attention, too! Reign told me that her classes were consistently above average in grades, so I can only assume the key is holding students attention.

I might have to have a look into buying some of those pills myself.
