As I am sure most of you know, I've always put a lot of effort into adding animated extras to my comics where possible.

I am getting the point with these animations where some of them are taking as long as the comics to make (or longer). They are time consuming to pose, simulate and render. Sometimes taking 3-4 nights just to render.

I really just wanted to get some feedback from you all to see how you feel about animations and how important they are to you.

put that time into longer and more comics I'd say 👍

I mean if they're too long to make, yeah, scrap them. But otherwise, if you could find a different way to render them, a faster way (like using a render-farm or using a dedicated machine, or using a different setup like several GPUs in series, or a different software like the Unreal Engine, I dunno, I'm sure there must be a way, some people are basically crapping out animations like it's nobody's business)... But anyway, the comics are more important, I guess, yeah.

The extras wouldnt have sense without them imo

The animations wont be going away, it's just what level to take them to :)

I wont be ditching them all together, really trying to work out what level to take them to. But I think this poll pretty much tells me is that I've been delivering the right level for my current animations. Because of the way I make my growth scenes, animating them isn't too much trouble. It's just when you add the levels of detail like multiple angles, realistic cloth simulations ect... that's when the time really gets away from you.

No no, you put out at a great rate, just saying thats the better format, for me at least

Clothes must be so hard to do right, especially with growth and ripping. So many tf videos with clothes ‘disappearing’ into peoples skin takes away from the excitement of it all. Do what you gotta do
