Hi guys ❀️

I've been waking up super early this week and tried to sketch for myself a bit before work. So far it's been really fun and it's crazy how much it eases my mind throughout the day.

I'm also trying to change minor things in order to find a new routine that works better for me!

I used to sketch for a few hours, then close the sketchbook, clean my workspace and wait for the next time I feel inspired to open it up again. I noticed that wasn't happening very often anymore, and it was getting hard for me to even pick it up. I guess In part because of comic work and also because of my arm injury.

So this week I left my sketchbook open all the time on my desk and I didn't clean up anything. I'm trying to embrace the chaos cause it's working, even if it sounds silly. I feel I put less excuses this way and I'm more open to sit down and play around with art supplies and create something.

I'm also sketching more and taking it easy, even if I don't finish the spread. Can you bealieve I rarely did that? I always finished what I was doing, one way or another, before moving to the next page. Those were rules that might have worked for me in the past but right now I feel I need to find new ways of doing things.

And I will, hopefully!
