🍑✨ Sketchbook peek! ✨🍑 (Patreon)

Hey hey heyyyyy my dearest patrons, how are you? Hope you're doing great!

I've been having some busy and stressing days but I'm not complaining (I think 😂 ? ) I want it to be friday already.

Here're some sketchbook pages i haven't shared yet and some process pictures I managed to took while painting. I had so much fun trying acryla gouache again, it's still incredibly frustrating and hard to control for me, but I think I did some progress between the first page -which I don't like at all, especially the pink haired girl- and the second one, with the tulips! Even the cans on that spread look much polished and pretty. 

The difference bewteen both is that I added more water to the gouache in the second one, and it made the process a lot easier! I gotta remember that. Also, colored pencils saved my ass because no way I'll outline anything with a brush, I just can't do it.

Then I also did some hand studies with markers which I liked but I'm hoping to do more of those. Annnndddd inspired by the screen tone technique, I did something I really enjoyed! I used washi tape for the black dress and I think it looks so pretty!!

Definitely something I'll keep using/practicing from time to time and hopefully mix it with screen tones too. Idk makes me really excited! I filmed a reel I might post tomorrow but I have a longer version of it that I'll upload here for you.
