Hey guys! How are you? 🌻

A couple of weeks ago I ordered some screen tones after I finally found them on Amazon. Even when I visited the US I had no luck! I read they are getting harder and harder to get, since half tones have been replaced by digital tools nowdays, so that's why it's been such a hustle getting my hands on some.

The sheets are also kinda pricey and I'm almost run out of them after doing just one sketchbook page, I thought they were gonna be bigger than A4 but oh well.

It was worth it because I absolutely love them! They add such a nice effect even to the simplest doodles and I love it's not necessary to be incredibly accurate or clean when cutting them (believe, I'm not) and still looks good!

I got a lot of questions of how you cut the screens without damaging the paper underneath, and I know it looks so confusing (I know I was when I watched artists working with screen tones) but now I know: the paper is so so thin you don't even need to do a lot of pressure with the cutting knife, just pressing super gently does all the job.

It's such a fun technique that I'll probably get more sheets pretty pretty soon πŸ˜…

I also got myself a label printer to print shipping addresses for the Mer-Mail tier and also shop orders πŸ’• I feel so fancy! even though I'm not shipping hundred of stuff every month, it's still such a huge time saver. Thanks so much for allowing me to invest on new tools and help me grow as an artist! You don't know how much I appreciate you all! ❀️❀️

I'll be back soon with more,

Love and hugs!
