Hey guys! How are you?

I wanted to share with you some sketchbook pages I haven't posted yet and also let you know what's been going on, to keep you guys in the loop of things, cause you're the best and you deserve it.

My drawing hand feels bad. I've felt pain these past few months but it was nothing compared to what it is now. I've neglected the pain and kept pushing and it clearly made it worse. I honestly thought that the month-long trip was going to be good for my wrist but the pain came back as soon as I got back home and started drawing regularly again. This past monday, as I was working to met a deadline, I felt a deep pain in my elbow, spreading to my whole arm and it was the first time I experienced trigger fingers, like a popping or clicking on two of my fingers when trying to bend them. I knew I had to stop or I was going to seriously injure my hand, if I haven't done it already.

I had a doctor appointment today but unfortunately he rescheduled it to next week due to covid so I still have no clue of what should I do or how much time will it take to heal. I've stopped using my hand completely of course and my elbow isn't hurting that much today, but my whole arm is sore and my wrist hurts and feels very weak.

This whole situation is driving me crazy to say the least 😅 and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to tell to the clients that expect stuff from me next week. I don't even want to think how much time this will take. I've read hundred of articles all with the same conclusion, the bigger the pain the longer it will take to heal.

To keep bad thoughts at bay, I've been using my right hand to draw and it's been helping although I won't lie, is also veryy frustrating

I'd love to say that my right hand is 10 points but that's not the case, I feel some soreness sometimes too so I have to remember to take it easy.

Anyways, don't want to make this any longer. I think what I need now is to see how this situation evolves and start making decisions around it. I'm so sorry this is my first post of the year and sorry for all of you who just entered my patreon. I'll let you know as soon as I know more.

Stay safe,

Gret
