Quiet artsy afternoon 🌻 (Patreon)

Today I sent over my final inks for the Archie comic *phew* :D and I took a lil break to play around with some art supplies before tackling the 3dtotal project, which's deadline is this Friday. 

I loved that IG was down all afternoon so I took the chance to work without any distractions, my boyfriend was also away for most part of the day so it was extra quiet over here, which was nice for a change. 

I tried to use the ink sticks from Kuretake and it was fun I guess. At first I was worried that "creating" the amount of ink necessary for a drawing will take too much time, especially if you need various colors, but turns out that just a tiny bit of each color is more than enough. 

While researching how to use these sticks properly, I came across that they are unfortunately made with some kind of animal glue, which made my excitement over this art supply just disappear. I'll post the drawing above at some point for my collab but I'll probably never use these again, such a shame.

On a lighter note, I'm super happy how that mysterious guy in a suit with a diver's helmet turned out hehe also, can you please appreciate those beautiful washi tapes!? I ordered them from Eurekartstudio <3
