Sketchbook dump + Pantone cards 🌼🌿 (Patreon)

Hi guys!

How's it going!?

Here're some sketchbook pages I promised. I'm not super happy with how any of  these look 🤷‍♀️ but it makes sense because I've been drawing mostly digital these days and my hand doesn't adapt very quickly from one medium to another heh. 

I'm just happy that I used watercolors again a bit after a long time and mixed them with colored pencils, I love the texture it gives to it :) the Moleskine A4 is a bit intimidating at this point lol it's definitely not the same as drawing in a smaller size, but I just need to keep using it, I can't chicken out now 😂

Also I've ben trying to paint over the pantone cards but they are just too slick. I hate all three I've done (and the ones I got rid of too haha)  Poscas work fine I guess in the first pass but it's hard to layer them afterwards. It seems like the thing that works the best to avoid the slippery surface is priming it with clear gesso before drawing. I didn't even know clear gesso existed D: l'll see if I can get some.

Btw, I'll post a preview of the next Inktober piece later today for all tiers!
