Hey guys!!

I'm back again because I finished my first drawing for my Kuretake collab and wanted to post it here as well as sharing a bit the art supplies they sent me recently !

The collab consists in posting a minimum of 4 artworks throughout this last portion of September and October using Kuretake's new special products for Inktober, so it's actually very relaxed which I really appreciated! I'll try to post more than that though because there's a lot of stuff to try out and play with, but it's nice to not have the pressure. I'll never be able to complete an entire month of a drawing challenge in my life and I'm not looking forward to it anymore πŸ˜‚

Anyways, here're some sketches I did last week and decided to take the first one and re-draw it bigger and without the posca background this time because I shouldn't use art supplies from other brands for the post !!

Here's how the new one turned out, first drawing on my A4 Moleskine btw :')!

All the products have a new packaging with art from Kloodwig so it was impossible to not feel inspired by her work! I made an INHUMAN effort to keep my lines as clean and tidy as possible for this drawing and I didn't even succeeded haha I don't know why it's so so hard for me to make a one-line lineart.

But that's okay, I'll keep trying ! I don't want to change the way I draw at all but I do want to achieve at least once that special feel Japanese / Manga art have. Again, if you look at Kloodwig's work you can see how everything is so so clean and pretty. I want that just once !

For this drawing I used the Illustration basic set 2, the Mannen Mouhitsu and a clean color pink brush.

Here's a look at the other products I look forward to try soon:

I'm SO intrigued by the fluid graphite 😩

These are the Clean color real brushes ! I have various colors of these and I've been using them a lot recently for almost all my sketchbook art, I love them because they are like watercolor brushes and are super nice and handy to add colors very quickly without them bleeding through the paper.

Here're some pages with all the swatches and names of the pens, it's a bit hard to keep track of all them because of their Japanese names heh

Lastly, here's one last thing they sent me that I've been procrastinating and avoiding using haha it's precious and I feel so unworthy, still don't know how to use these properly but we'll see. They are ink sticks!

The package is so delicate and nice and feels really fancy, it has a particular earthy scent, like a damp forest kind of smell and it came with a tiny color sample sheet made by hand.

This is the ink stone! *sweats nervously*

I hope I can make some time to try them soon !!! 😩😍🀧

And that's it for todayyy,

Hope you liked this lil art supply talk, thank you so much for your support guys and hope you have a lovely week ahead!

Love,

Gret
