New art // previews + step by step 🍑✨ (Patreon)

Hi guys! Happy Saturday! 🌻

I kept working on new pieces to post for my collaboration with Kuretake, I still have to do one more drawing using the Zig Clean color brushes and then I can move on to the other set. I'm not 100% happy with my results so far but I feel I'm slowly getting the hang of them.

This one is called 'The overthinker'

Here's the final image with color adjustments and some little touch ups with Procreate:

And this other one is a weird concept featuring my oc Ridge haha 

of course I messed up several times throughout the process, so I ended up retouching it digitally, especially his eyes (the 'shadow effect' over his eyes wasn't really working) and his head was too big. I liked the result a lot better but damn, I'm so rusty drawing male characters, gotta practice more.

Btw, I saw in the comments of my previous post you guys really like to see art supplies related stuff :D I'll make sure to share a couple more of cool things I received from the kind folks at Kuretake!

Also, a random update, I signed up for a perspective class with Javidraws. I always admired her beautifully complex backgrounds so when I saw that she put together an environment course, I had to take it. I've  been doing perspective exercises since Tuesday and can't wait to share with you some tricks I already learned and hopefully some progress too.

I'm wishing with all my heart this will be the time when I finally overcome my fear of technical drawing and I become more comfortable drawing perspective for once and for all. We'll see!  🤞🤞🤞
