I'm back from Japan! It was an amazing trip, and while I was there I got to see so many inspiring and awe-striking things, that I couldn't stop myself from illustrating a bunch of new ideas~ 

I wanted to commemorate the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto with this month's theme. This temple was absolutely surreal, a 1 hour hike to the top of the mountain which involved walking through thousands of Torii gates. My favorite animal is the fox, and seeing the hundreds of little statues of foxes all over the hike really resonated with me! I especially loved that all the foxes were portrayed as helpful guardian spirits <3
