Yokai Week! (Patreon)

Not quite enough for a night parade, but we'll get there. Yokai have a particular vibe that I think meshes well with D&D; they're intelligent enough to communicate with, alien enough that doing so is a challenge, hostile enough that you don't need to feel bad about fighting them (but not so hostile that you necessarily have to fight them), and unmoored from reality in a way that feels inextricably magical, even in settings where magic threatens to become mundane.

If y'all are into folklore of any stripe, you gotta check out the incredible work Matthew Meyer's doing over at Yokai.com; he's not the only source I use for yokai, but he's definitely the easiest and most fun to read.
