Banderhobbs (Patreon)

Y'all know about banderhobbs? Of all the numerous frog-monsters in D&D history, they are the nastiest. They swim here from the shadowfell, splashing their way out of pools of shadow, swallowing adventurers, and jumping back in. Their tummies are wallpapered in giant human faces, and you slowly drop to 0 there and stabilize, ready for whatever sent this nasty frog to kidnap you.

The banderhobb filch is even nastier. He's too little to swallow you, but he's got a big sack to throw you in that makes you fall asleep, and he can squeeze into the smallest of shadows, though he sometimes has difficulty squeezing the sack through with him. His favorite thing is to wait until you're asleep, plop out of your ceiling and bag you; you continue sleeping peacefully all through the journey to nightmare-land.
