Gulon and Veteran today (Patreon)

The gulon is a Scandinavian legendary creature, a big wolverine that eats itself sick and then squeezes through small spaces to push the food out so it can eat more. This thing is gross. With the Opportunistic Feeder trait, I tried to give the sense that it's starting to eat you alive, evoking the autocrits players experience while being coup-de-grace'd. Then once it's taken a big bite, it gets sluggish and lazy until it can make room for more.

For the veteran, I wanted to make a humanoid enemy that was threatening without feeling like a PC. The veteran isn't dangerous because it does a ton of damage; it's dangerous because it can quickly evaluate and act in stressful situations, exploiting its own advantages and minimizing those of the PCs.
