Resolutions anyone?

Hi everyone,

Now that the entire world has successfully entered into the 2023, and hopefully all our fans have returned from their celebrations and back on to their PCs, we'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year! On behalf of the team here at Cursed-Atelier, we pray and hope that 2023 brings nothing but the best for both you and your families!

Though initially we only intended for this message to be a short greeting but, at the last moment we decided to make it a bit more than just that and add a roadmap for our VoidBound 2023 plans. Bear with us, as the succeeding text might become a bit wordy..

Curious Tier: The Dollar Conundrum

Last year we started an overhaul drive aimed at our patron tiers in order to make them more attractive and extra beneficial to the holder in more ways than one. Though, we do believe we managed to achieve most of our goals with the overhaul, we still feel we fell a bit short with our Curious tier. This year, we plan to remedy this inadequacy. How? Well, we'll... let you know when we figure it out! (Any suggestions?)

Patron Discord Channel

So this one has been on our mind for some time now. Originally, we created separate Discord channels for each supporter category so we could splash tier specific info without making a confusing chaos. Unfortunately, the execution didn't line up with the vision and it sees very little to no usage at the moment. We intend to streamline this by archiving the current channels and create one universal garden for all supporters to come together and interact on. More on this in the next few days.

Countdown to VoidBound on Itch.io and other platforms

This one has been bubbling on the back-burner for some time now but its time to bring this to fruition. Many well wishers have suggested we bring VoidBound to other- more prominent sites as well, and what better to start with than itch.io, being one of the leading sources for Indie games! Current plan is to get our page up and running in the next few weeks(hopefully) with basic setup already in place. 

Enhanced Staff Interaction and Game Concept Presentation

An idea was bounced around a few months back whereby the staff was encouraged to showcase their respective fortes and make a short video/visual presentation of their work and share it with our followers. In other words, reveal what we're, or what we might be soon, working with and absorb the feedback/interaction to accurately tap into the player mindset. Of-course we understand not all fans have similar tastes, not to mention the preference bias that might not align with developer creativity, so we still need to contend with a proper execution process. But, rest assured, we'll keep working to find a way to enhance our interaction with you.

And we do believe we're now dangerously teetering on the Wall of Text territory, so we'll cut short our new year "To Do" list here. 

Once again: Thank you so much for your support, comments, interaction and feedback over the span of 2022. We appreciate you more than words can describe and sincerely hope that 2023 brings you joy eclipsing anything the years before!
