"Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the hottest of them all?"

Greetings Voidsurfers o/

With the calm of July slowly dissipating behind us, things at CA have started to pick up momentum once more. Besides the patch release schedules, new content ideas are being being bounced around every day, resulting in horns getting locked over what is, what should and what can't be done. Thankfully, the team agrees on much more than what it disagrees on, so let's bring you up to speed on what got done this week.

We iterated this on a few occasions but, a some events that were implemented with the latest patch, were unfortunately incomplete due to time constraints. CGs specifically was a challenge left unanswered, so our artist started by picking the modelling quest first. Divided into a three phased mini event, the outcome of each class that Caly attends, results in her losing a layer, increasing the risqué factor. Look forward to it if a heroine letting go of her reasoning overtime is your thing.

From the literary council comes a new decree that VoidBound's lewd factor isn't lewd enough! Writers are now evaluating ideas to tweak things up a notch and add more flowchart pathing to quests that may or may not(pfft) result in Caly getting into diverging naughty situations, based on player choice. In-fact, an experiment is already underway, penning down a concept piece regarding new adventures to be had in the Auction House. Sadly, with timing and progress as is, this couldn't be done with the modelling quest, for the story had already been written and drawn too far in. Nonetheless, please be patient with us while we work tirelessly to bring you more on this in the future

Speaking of tirelessly, ever since the induction of Henosis Overhaul content and its updates, the game's engine has come under heightened stress. Our coder reports that some maps have become so saturated with content that he is now experiencing slow downs when trying to access them for maintenance. However, he assures us that even though optimization has become more central than it was before, the players themselves should feel little to no change in their gaming experience. To test this, a few H-scenes were implemented recently to evaluate the stability of the engine and then pushed some more by coding additional mini-events. Glad to report that the tester build performed spectacularly to standard and then some.

And that should cover everything up until now. Before we leave though, an important announcement: Tomorrow on the 10th of August, Henosis Overhaul patch would be made public. This is the original build that was released to our patrons on 29th of June here, but will now be offered to the player-base at large with added fixes and updated scripts.

On that exciting note, see you all tomorrow o/

Kind Regards,

Cursed-Atelier Team
