Hi all! It’s been a while since the last progress report, and after spending months working on the Xaide update, now it’s finally the time to show our work! 


First up, we have some teaser images to showcase two of the new enemies you can expect to encounter on Xaide. They don’t have any official names yet, but for now we’ll call them “Gigantea” and “Panellus”. 

Gigantea, the big guy, acts as the Tank in the group, and is mainly in charge of protecting its lesser allies. The smaller Panellus on the other hand has more of a support role, capable of applying various debuffs like bind and paralyze on Caly, and generally makes her life a living hell if it’s not taken out quickly.


We’d also like to show you the new UI, which has been well and truly overhauled to allow for easier navigation and be more visually coherent. Details on improvements made have already been covered in the previous Progress Report, so we’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves here.

Finally, here’s a changelog on everything else we’ve been doing:


  • Finalized all text for the Xaide update.
  • All hand-drawn dungeon maps and their related assets have been finished.
  • added four new H-scenes and working on two more scenes to be added at release
  • New UI update in progress, 70% already implemented in-game.
  • All assets have been updated to 1080p standard.
  • The new combat system has been implemented. The combat zone is now 60% larger than the previous version, with a 20% size increase for the combat art windows.
  • 370 environment assets created (e.g. music, animations, sprites, backgrounds)
  • Reworking the item system and adding more items to be crafted/used
  • Added new enemies for Xaide.
  • New assets for in-combat sexual attacks have been finished and are currently waiting to be implemented.
  • Added a new long-range weapon for Caly.
  • Reworked the Urtu Rifle and the Coilgun
  • Assets for new weapon attachments are currently being made
  • Work on the new weapon modification system has been completed, with 5 new parameters added for all firearms: Ergonomics, weight, recoil, rate of fire, and action points)
  • Brought in an additional background artist to speed up the production for background art and map assets.
  • Brought in an animator to create combat assets for both Caly and enemies.
  • Brought in two new writers to speed up the writing/editing process
  • Created 7 new tracks to be used as BGM, currently creating custom SFXs for the game.
  • Revamp of older content has been completed
  • New animations and scene transition effects are currently being made
  • Working on optimization tweaks and creating a better NWJS for the game in order to improve frame rate and stability 
  • Created 15 new plugins for the game
  • Preparation for the Henosis expansion is going smoothly. With planning and conceptualizing mostly out of the way, new side quests for Henosis are well underway!
