Dear Adherents and Benefactors,

                              It's time. Yes, you read it right. The expansion patch for our demo build is finished and we can't wait to push it out the door for everyone out there to enjoy.

But, a deal is a deal. Per the terms of our patreon agreement, we offer both our Adherent and Benefactor patrons the exclusive opportunity to snag the expansion patch ahead of the official release. Rigorous internal testings were performed on the game and should have worked out most kinks from the patch content, but we still encourage you all to consider this opportunity as not only a perk but a form of alpha testing as well. If any of you folks run into issues, have any feedback, bug reports or any technical issues of any kind, feel free to post them down below. 

Whats new in this expansion patch?

  • New additional story content.
  • New standing art variations.
  • New characters introduced.
  • New maps with additional "secrets" for players to explore.
  • New sexual attack variations during combat.
  • New tilesets. Furthermore, sprites updated to HD standard all across the board. Players will now feel more in sync with a futuristic sci-fi setting.
  • New UI implemented. Saving or loading of content no longer limited during game play sections only. Players can now freely do so during dialogues as well. 
  • New soundtrack added to various sections of the game. 
  • Combat speed enhanced. Players can get through enemies quicker now.
  • Combat balancing tuned further. New craft able mods should make the experience more interesting.
  • Dialogue log initiated. Players can now access missed/old dialogues by a simple click. Presently limited to 20 messages only. 
  • Intro lore extended. Caly's story no longer changes gear abruptly after her rescue.
  • Cinematic changed to a movie file. It's now possible to pause the game with "Enter" or "Space" and skipped entirely by using "Shift".

    Finally, a few things to keep in mind:
  • Make sure to start a new game. Importing a save from the 0.22 build will NOT work and cause unwanted crashes. We apologize if this is inconvenient but we assure you, since new content and changes have been made from start to finish, you will not regret starting anew.
  • The newly added systems[Crafting/Dialogue Logs/Combat Behavior Variations etc.] are all proof of concept. In simple words, they have been implemented but are crude in certain aspects and may behave a bit erratic. For example, opening dialogue logs might takes a few seconds to open up. Issues such as these are already on our radar, but for now we consider them operating within acceptable margin of error.
  • Finally, since this is a patreon exclusive offering, we sincerely request you all to either post your comments under this very post OR splash them in the role specific channels(#adherent-assembly and #benefactor-circle) assigned on our Discord.

The public release plans remain on schedule. The expansion patch will be officially unveiled around 31st of this month. Till then, please enjoy our latest offering and we sincerely hope you all have as much fun playing it, as we had making it!

  • Bug List:
*  There is currently a bug centered around the illumination puzzle that is causing zoning issues in the new maps. To avoid this issue, simply do any ONE of the following:

Option 1) Do NOT finish the illumination puzzle until after you have finished the tasks in the pipe room followed by the factory floor up until to the point where Caly disables the lasers. Then, you're free to finish the illumination puzzle and continue the game without issues.

Option 2) If you have already solved the illumination puzzle but haven't finished the tasks in the pipe or factory room, the only real solution we can offer right now is to simply load a previous save where you hadn't finished the puzzle yet and then follow the steps in Option 1.  Remember, the bug only triggers IF you finish the puzzle before the new maps.

Option 3) If you finished the tasks in pipe room but for some reason decided not to go into the factory and instead turned around to finish the illumination puzzle, you will once again face the zoning issue because completing the puzzle will essentially bar the player from zoning back into the pipe room. Once again, the only solution is to load a previous save before the puzzle was finished and then follow the steps of Option 1.  

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding on the matter. This issue has already been fixed on our end and a patch will be floated in the coming few days.
