   Tank takes being tossed out a 3rd floor window with good grace, but Mink seems somewhat...let down?

I don't think she actually wanted a fight, but she has probably been bracing for one for a good 20 minutes now. That much adrenaline buildup with no climax can be deflating.

Ooooohhhhhh. Okay. That makes so much more sense now. I thought the 'aura growing tendrils' thing was still going to be linked to the device. Good ploy though, especially since then you could still at least 'threaten' with the device even if he wasn't around. :D

It did not seem like Hardee was able to drain the Mink's powers though. I'm wondering if it is even possible for him to do that besides irritating her.

The Mink's powers are not 'super powers' in the traditional sense of Superman or the X-Men. The are psionic, filtered through her biologically-based gate. Probably immune to Olly's diddling.
