I'm expecting outright refusal, probably a password, a riddle would be a nice change of pace. :3 Magical guardians and riddles are always a good combo. Or possibly something crazy like the notes are written into the bottom of that 'solar fountain' mentioned previously. So the only way to ever uncover them would require the emptying of the fountain, an extremely arduous and dangerous task. While in turn robbing anyone crazy enough to do it of the very power source necessary to fuel any other construct they may have wished to make! O.O

The plans could be hidden anywhere that Arkano felt people either would not think to look, or wouldn't risk looking . . . such engraved inside the Solar Fountain, inside the very furnace that forged his work . . . heck, considering hos his name is worked into the mosaic frame of his picture to where it almost escapes the eye, he could've written them into his own grimoire in such a way that one might read right over them and never notice. Mink holding the plans for one of the most antient and possibly most wondrous mechanoid she's ever come across right in her own hands and never knowing about it . . . that'll shock her as hard as everything else so far, ha!
