Well, the votes are tallied and the Mink wins handily. I'll get started on "All the Little Witches" - as soon as my schedule is clear. Seems the Florence Project isn't QUITE finished yet. And obviously I need some time to actually draw the first few pages of the Mink story. So here's the shortest Zonies tale I could find, to fill in before Little Witches starts next week.

When I was a teenager I was trained to work the local help line, part of which was suicide prevention. The instructor told me I needed to return for an additional two weeks of empathy training. I suggested they could park it where the sun don't shine. In the ensuing years, I handled three suicide calls, acquaintances who called me because I was a good listener. I only 'lost' one; the other two are still alive and happy members of society. The trainer? He lost five in a row and was asked to leave. There's your <i>empathy!</i>
