FYI: If Jan is in the cell system's back end, she can do more than just locate the phone to the nearest tower: in GSM, CDMA, and LTE, you can get the sector (1/6 circle) the phone is in, and the range from the tower down to a few microseconds * c. That's assuming she cannot get the phone to just give up it's location - all modern phones HAVE TO by law have the ability to tell at least 911 where they are to a few tens of feet, which is the real reason most phones have GPS capability. However, I wonder if Mr. Meg is smart enough to not only kill the phone, but to bug out. Jan might get to a house only to find a booby trap.

In turn Meg is the better Hacker by far but Jan has a lot more overall intellect. And in a lot more fields. And she is fresh off of having learned a lesson about rushing in. She is gonna make DAMN SURE she got the right guy, building and room before going in.
