Well, the votes for "Greedy Little men" ran about two-to-one over "First Kill", so here I am, submitting to the will of the people.

If you think the panel layouts look unusually dynamic for me, you'd be right: This page was penciled from my thumbnails by none other than Fred Perry, famed creator of the "Gold Digger" books and many related creative works. Look up his stuff - it's amazing!

Inking these pencils gave me such a 1990's nostalgia hit: When the Small Press was a loose cabal of comix-loving nerds, mostly helping and hyping each other. I miss the times when the trolls had no venue to spit their sad, runny venom at the creatives.

But then the Net rose to prominence, and the trolls multiplied like bacteria in a fresh hyena turd. I don't resent the Net - don't I make my living through it? - but it's blessings are decidedly not unmixed. Factsheet Five, where are you when we need you?

I LOVED Factsheet Five. It died when the guy who made it ran the numbers and realized it paid him a buck an hour...

There might not be a paper trail . . . but as Jack proved in PeRKs . . . Crush the right arms and you'll soon get all the dirt you need to bury 'em a mile under.
