That pile of treasure wasn't conjured up by HIS imagination, so it must be real, right? Sid reasons.

Huh I wonder if this will somehow give him memories of having a vast treasure or hallucinate it being around him. O.O Seems Mink has worked out some manner of 'emotional blocker' for this spell though? :3 Or maybe greed is simply not that terrible a sensation compared to other things she's felt from people.

Poor guy sees a beautiful naked woman, and all he wants is the shiny... May I never get that bad.

I think Sid is in for a hell of a hangover.

Well it seems to me that he will wake up and realize he's traded his magic for fools gold. She could run into him later - older smarter and meaner....

Karno

If he has no memory of ever doing magic, how's he going to realize he's made a bad trade? Mink is not papering over his memories. She's TAKING them.

Malen

Exactly. You cant be angry you lost something when you never knew you had it in the first place. That makes me think though. If he discovered magic once, he will surely do it again. Hopefully this will make Mink realize that they need to be prepared for another Bereki.

Thankfully, this guy is not a "born" magic user like Mink is . . . the magic from the book he was using was so basic in nature that any commoner with a belief in magic can learn to tap just enough magic from their own will to work a small spell or two . . . but compared to a real, Magic in the Blood mage like the Mink and her ancestors . . . that's like comparing a shoddy hand made birthday candle to a Grand Cathedral's gallery of candles . . . or a penny match to a California Wild Fire!
