The Elephant had a cold, a very bad cold indeed. So bad he was sure he would die. So he gave the other animals all his possession and sold his house. The Elephant lay down one last time. But in the morning the Elephant woke up, he wasn't dead. The cold was gone. But what had he done? He was penniless and homeless. The moral being: Just because your trunk is packed, does not mean you are ready to go.
