That will definetly leave a mark or ten.

Don't worry, boys. 'Help' is on its unwitting way.

The wall is half-inch steel sandwiched with epoxy resin impregnated Kevlar. It's designed to stop a repeated .50 BMG assault. I'm intimately familiar with such construction.

Panel1: Sounds like the smart one of the group. Panel2: He musta dropped the smarts he had in panel1 somewhere because now he's a dumb "revenge before escape" type like the rest of them.

Yeah well, a lot of crooks have a 'I bet I can get away with one more thing' attitude. (It's about to be adjusted....)

Thankfully superhero comic story villains always have to do the evil thing rather than the smart thing. It gives the reader the vicarious thrill of beating the shit out of someone who honestly deserves it.

"Payback Syndrome". A typical villain affliction that often overrides what passes for their common sense when things don't go their way. Like being able to realize that when the power went out for that brief moment, there would have been a chance for the prisoners to get loose and therefore not be restrained when they next check-up on them, heh ;-3 and of course, makes for a fun "Now what were you saying" scenario which is not doubt to occur in the next page! If he thought a "psycokinetic" and two muscle girls were trouble when it had friends, just wait until he's alone against three battle hardened males! A "short stack" psycho vigilante, an obvious ex-military soldier, and a super-augmented cyborg . . . I smell one heck of a beat-down a comin'!
