Yeah, I'm a day late, and a bunch of dollars short. Tuesday, during which I was supposed to draw the above, was instead spent on helping a friend obtain a new starter for his van, and then the longer slog of getting it installed at a price he could afford.

    Good thing he got his van fixed, though, because yesterday, my truck developed a flat tire. I swapped it out for the spare this morning, just before the heat got murderous. Alas, the spare was flat, too. So he drove me and my flat tire to Big O tires, where I got a new one. I had to split the cost between two cards, as this month has left me somewhat broke. But now I have an intact tire, and will install it tomorrow. Air-conditioned transportation, yay!

   Being a starving artist, I used to be pretty good at poorcraft. But I seem to have lost my old skills for surviving while broke. Stop buying things you don't need, fool!
