A quick thank you to everyone (Patreon)

Hey yall

My Patreon has officially been up for a year now (technically a year and some change) and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who's supported me thus far. This time last year, I had just graduated college and was scared out of my mind from none of my job apps getting back to me. On a whim, I started Patreon with the hope of being able to earn rent while I pushed on with looking for a concept / character art gig at whatever studio in CA would take me.

As this last year passed, my art goals underwent some big changes as did myself. As I saw what the support of a community could give to an artist, I became less inclined to continue with looking for industry work and settled in between Patreon and Tangletorn as my two primary sources of income. Alongside that, the ability to begin my transition in relative seclusion as a side effect from being able to work as a freelancer was invaluable. 

I don't want to turn this into a lengthy speech but I do want to give one big thanks to everyone who's supported me since the beginning, and everyone who came along sometime during the year. I'm terrible at replying to things but I read every single message I get on here, Twitter, and elsewhere, and I value all of them. 

I have some plans on where I want to go with my personal work this coming year. Getting more comfortable with autobio stuff and personal narratives is a big one. Alongside this, I want to figure out something I can give for people who've supported me for a while, but that's still a work in progress. Regardless, thank you all so much for the support as always <3
