Well, it's the end of the month, so my dev time is over. Here's what I have so far, with five playable stages and dev room, room transitions, a playable character with modular ranged and melee attack, and enemies with timed spawns! Didn't get time to add anything funny, but the groundwork is there for future development. Also, I turned off damage, as it needed to be reworked.


Installation instruction:

Unzip the Gaunlet.zip into a respective folder, then run the exe.


Controls: 

Spacebar / LMB - Confirm/attack

WASD - Up/Left/Down/Right

Potion - E

Reset - R

Debug Mode - F1, Spawn new player, 1

Just gave it a run, in god mode, it was fun to just run against everything and slashing my way trough the hordes tough im curious to see what kind of balance you want with shooting from afar and slashing. As for bugs i feel that after completing all levels, you fall in a repeat level but out of bounds and can only reset. Also the debug mode doesnt seem to spawn anything and most of the items didnt seem to have effect aside from the potion. Also is it possible to say whats your plan with the scoring system?

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I really wanted to get core mechanics done first before fleshing out further with more levels, and Debug mode was mainly for myself to test the game running multiple Players at once for future multiplayer. The points are actually your health, but since I turned off enemy damage they don't serve much a purpose in this iteration, no. In the future, I planned to have score be used to turn in for upgrades for weapons and characters, but that also went beyond the bounds of what I got to finish for the month.
