It reminds me of the saying "change starts from within" or "you have to change yourself before you can change the world"

I took me a couple days to get through this one. I respect Kendrick's talent and especially how he uses it. But his kind of music just doesn't hit for me although I do really like orchestral music but Jazz is just not for me.

This helped me understand the album. I didn’t like it when it came out the different sounds, jazzy music and flow patterns weren’t for me. The lyrics and stories in the album never hit me until now. I couldn’t really listen to it before.
