I def commend you both for giving it a shot. I agree that this project might not be the best intro to her music. Reputation, Midnights, or 1989 might be a more solid choice for y’all to react to if you give her another shot.

Reputation, Midnights, Folklore, Evermore are better albums to start with for a new listener I think! And I am a die hard Swiftie that subscribed just to watch this reaction 😅 this album is very personal to her and she said it was more she needed to write this as opposed to being written for the public All we ask is don’t let the public perception steer you away from her work. When you deep dive there are masterpieces waiting to be found.
