Hello!
It's been a while since the last update and there's a lot to cover what's been going on with the project.
The main bulk of work done on the overall progress of the project is switching engines, this is no small task, but Unity requires a lot more overhead to support all the features which are piling up. Especially in the animation department, making even the simple ones feels stiff in the end, and I wanted to bring some life and reactivity to the character, I'm experimenting heavily with the Unreal full body IK system and so far it seems very promising (more info soon, I'll try to make more bite-sized updates about the pros of the new engine)
Another great thing is the Unreal's UI system, let me tell you, it's so much more robust and better to use than Unity's, I love it and remaking the potions panel was just a day of work!
Right now it is very hard for me to estimate when the full engine jump will be complete, I'll do my best to speed things up, but no specific dates here, sorry.
