Iskra, thanks as always for asking for patron input. Your characters are great and getting new images of any of them is terrific. That being said I am NOT a fan of this system of polling. This polling system is flawed. The most popular 2-3 characters always get picked while there are characters that regularly get 15%+ of the vote almost never get picked. Mai and Helga are great and deserve to be popular, but their popularity shouldn't drown out all over options. As a fan of some of the less popular characters I would prefer a system that gave them a chance. 3 possible implementations of a more representative voting system spring to mind: 1) When a character wins a spot take them out of the next round or 2 of voting. 2) When a character wins a spot give them some number of negative votes that they must overcome in order to win again. This number should increase after each consecutive win. (This way a popular character could win multiple months in a row, but at someone they their vote handicap would be too large.) 3) Use a system like FluffKevlar where characters who did NOT win retain their previous votes. This way characters with small loyal followings will still win given enough time. Thanks for listening even if you decide to change nothing.
